Studio 5678, formerly known as Marianne’s School of Dance, was opened in 1967. It is one of the oldest dance studios in the Lehigh Valley. This will be our 56th season !!!!!! Our current and former students have performed at Walt Disney World, Radio City Music Hall, Caesar’s Resorts, Lehigh Valley Ballet Guild, Repertory Dance Theater, American Dance Festival and with the Eagles Cheerleaders. Our students are well rounded in all aspects of dance performance. The studio consists of 2 large dance studios, lobby/waiting area & a break/dressing room for our dancers.
The staff at Studio 5678 strives to give quality instruction on an individual basis, with the student’s personal achievement level as its focal point. Emphasis is placed on the development of coordination, poise, perception, physical and mental discipline. Some of our staff has attended Kutztown University, West Chester University, Point Park University, DeSales University and Muhlenberg College to continue their education in dance. Our staff has choreographed routines for local high school musicals, Regional & National Dance Competitions, Disney World Performances, Junior Miss Pageants, Governor School Auditions & the American Dance Festival, to name a few.
Classes start at age 3 and range to adult, male and female. Most of our classes are combination classes, which offer students ballet, tap & jazz. We also offer specialized classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern and adults only. Some of these classes have age restrictions. Please consult the class schedule for more detailed information. Class sizes are limited, especially for our younger dancers, to ensure your child is receiving a proper dance education. Our studio also has an award winning Competition Ensemble; invitation only.
